Tungsten Bead Caddis Larva

A highly effective subsurface pattern designed to imitate the larval stage of the caddisfly, an important year-round food source for trout.

Its segmented body and natural profile resemble a caddis larva that has been dislodged from the riverbed and carried into the current. The tungsten bead adds weight, helping the fly sink quickly and stay close to the bottom where trout commonly feed.

Fish it with a dead drift, under an indicator, on a tight-line nymphing rig, or as part of a multi-fly setup.
